having a smurfin good holiday

Our school holidays have just kicked into its second week....to be honest we havent done a huge amount other than go to the Royal show, visit family, celebrated my babys 5th birthday, gone to the park watched a few movies...smurfs was one of them!
I loved the smurfs when i was little so it was great to see them come back for my kids to enjoy!

I finally got around to making that card for the person i know going through the first few challenges breast cancer sends their way.....i made it a smurf card as her daughter was so excited about the smurfs the last time we chatted....

Also here is a card i made for my daughters birthday coming up in a few days time!

birthdays...october seems to be full of them!!

hi all
ive been so busy this month with so many birthdays i havent had much time to blog!
Kids are also back at school so i now get a moment to think...which means i can type in peace!!

Im glad that all my family birthdays are now over..which means i get to think about christmas!! It will be here before i know it.

For my daughters birthday she was sent to school with lollypops & cupcakes we made..here are some photos

 We made the cupcakes & i then iced them and decorated them with what my 4 yr old called 'penguins'..they are actually little chick lollies but they are super cute! My daughter said everyone loved them...so that was good..i made extra so that her teachers could have one too...she said the principal took one also!

I cut out flowers from one of the cricut carts..i cant think which one either accent essentials or it was storybook...it had a hole in the middle already so all i had to do was pop the flower onto the sticks & scrunch them a little to make flowerpops!! I also had made this watering can awhile back that looks so cute!

ive been working on my holiday album...its taken longer than what the actual holiday was!! lol


Best be off to do some washing and cleaning today..off to scrapbook tomorrow

Organising my SVGS!

The other day i watched a quick video on how to organise your svgs so that they are easily viewed while using sure cuts a lot. I decided it was a fantastic idea & started straight away! well its taken several hours over many days but i think i can say im now done! until i download some more or make some myself!! But it now looks more neat & tidy in that section and now if i want a butterfly svg i know where they all are! no more wondering what those french written svgs folders are ect!If you have a mess of svg folders all over the place check out the video from svg cuts at this link

Today i washed my mobile phone!! im so annoyed as it obviously had all my contacts & not to mention photos of the kids and their cute little voices! its enough to make me cry.....how did i wash it!! im so careful .....but my 3 yr old asked what the pocket on my pj's was for & he picked up my phone & put it in..i then obviously scooped up all the washing after everyone was out of pjs for the day & in it went...i did check my sons pockets & found a tissue but it just slipped my mind that my ph was in my top!!


I did some scrapbooking pages today also....i was a little sad i didnt get to go to the scrapbooking day for creative memories memoranza but i guess i can always check out ebay to see what their customer gift was.... got to love ebay....a friend of mine closed down her scrapbooking store recently & i spent up big on her ebay sales!! here is a quick pic of some of the stuff i got....i have so many kaiser kraft off the page items i think i will be set til im 60!! lol

so cute sleigh!!

While looking for xmas decorations i could make using my cricut i came across this great site called cheeky magpie!! she has some fantastic stuff for you to download for scal.... If you want to take a look go here

I cut out the sleigh and hope to add the reindeer's too it too...and then ive got to chuck in my kids or maybe santa & some presents!!
i also attempted the bird ornament...it was very fiddly!! as ive only got the baby bug i could only make a small birdie!!

Took eldest to the dr & its a bug going round...so now im waiting for the rest of us to get it!



ive decorated a bit more on the pages i did yesterday for holidays in hand class...will do more when the kids are asleep!
