happy Holidays

Hi
We had a nice christmas with family this year...we went to my grandads for the first time & hopefully not the last time for christmas lunch

The kids all got some fabulous presents from santa & even i got some cricut cartridges & the provocraft cricut bag...yay me!!

Today my cousin mandy is getting married...she lives on the other side of australia now so sadly we couldnt make it over for the wedding as it was so close to christmas & everything is more expensive at this time of the year

I made some glittered glass baubles a few days before christmas...they were so easy to make..i used some vinyl to personalize them with names

We also made our own mini gingerbread houses...the kids had lots of fun decorating their own with lollies!

In the new year i hope to stick to my plan of using all of my cartridges i have! Over at Scrappy go lucky they will be having a challenge to use upto 5 carts a week!
i dont know if i could be that dedicated or even if i have all that they have ....but i will give it a go!

Also Sawyer's Place have some fantastic new washi tapes!! I hope to buy some of the gorgeous boys design of robots & cogs in the new year not to mention some of the other fabulous washi tapes!!!

New washi tapes at Sawyers Place!

Hi all

Yesterday i got delivery of the brand new Exclusive designed washi tape from Sawyers Place. Its the new Ophelia Collection & its Devine!!! I couldnt wait to have a play with it....i made a birthday card in quick time!!

This card Im entering over at Birthday Sundaes challenge to use Black, white purple & green!

I used the New Ophelia collection washi tape Insanity Script & Regal Damask along with some green card stock i embossed & a cut from the cricut.

This weekend is a long weekend...its started already...due to the Queen arriving & chogm....so what does one do when the Queen is in town?? Have a Halloween crop of course!! Im off to a all day Halloween crop on Saturday....i think i will get dressed up...but i don't have much in the way of fancy dress...most stuff in my wardrobe is scary as it is...as in ancient...i don't go shopping for me very often!!

I got a provo pickup this week too....3 new carts...all cricut events plus i have a few more winging their way to me as i type!!

Scrappy weekend

This weekend i spent 2 nights out scrapping with my friend mykaela...friday night we went to inspired friday & got home at 12....when i got home hubby was asleep & i was left standing outside for quite a bit...even a noisy fire engine with its loud cb radio callings didnt wake him....there had been a fire in Jandakot that afternoon & the local fire boys were just finishing up for the night.....had to go knock on the window where i thought he might have been asleep!

I got 4 layouts done that night...along with some shopping....i got an  I rock!! & you guessed it i used it on several of my layouts that night!!

The next day hubby said he was off fishing with mykaelas partner so i got to do more scrapbooking....but i was so tired so i just made cards for the eb swap! They had to be easter & include some embossed paper...i used my cuttlebug swiss dots folder & i cut the chocolate easter bunnies with my easter 2010 cricut cart

Today i painted my eifel tower i purchased on friday night.....but do you think i can get it together??
omg its just so hard....maybe when i have more patience... less tired... or kid free i may just work out how it goes together

 Easter eb card swap cards...im yet to add a sentiment....i used the doilies everyone asked me why i bought them so here is what ive used them for so far!

 Baby page done at inspired friday....Baby is heritage cartridge....adorable butterflies are a martha stewart punch i got my friend mykaela to take that night so i could use....its a really pretty punch!

These two are of birthdays...quite simple and basic..im trying to use my stash up before i buy more papers & embellishments...dont know if i can but im giving it a go!

eb card swap baby card

i got the baby card swap done this week...it was based on a sketch...as it was so hot this week i didnt think much so its quite a basic card...but still cute!

Its still quite hot & sticky here today & ive been so tired ...lack of sleep!!

Provocraft has teamed up with HP printers to bring out a new print & cut cricut! It is launching in september over in america so im assuming us aussies wont get it for awhile ...just look how long it took to get us the Pink expression! I was waiting ages for that to come here.
It takes the same cricut carts and same blades so its all interchangeable with your other cricuts..the gypsy works with it too....if your lucky enough to have one....im still thinking the aus price for a gypsy is too much.
It takes an ink cartridge that loads in the back of the machine & comes in the standard ink red green blue spectrum to make all the colours printers do & obviously a black ink cartridge too.
Provocraft are also launching the 12 new design carts that have all the patterns & colours to print onto the cricut cart designs. Its the same cutting size as the expression but the machine is much bulkier like the HP printer i have sitting on my desk, it has a coloured large lcd screen that is very similar to how the gypsy works.
Although its exciting a new product is being made i am still quite so happy with my pink expression for now.....if it prints colours like my HP printer does the colours just dont pop for me so i think using all my pattern papers will do for me!

what do others think?? are you going to be lining up to buy it or put it on the i might get that one day list?

so cute sleigh!!

While looking for xmas decorations i could make using my cricut i came across this great site called cheeky magpie!! she has some fantastic stuff for you to download for scal.... If you want to take a look go here

I cut out the sleigh and hope to add the reindeer's too it too...and then ive got to chuck in my kids or maybe santa & some presents!!
i also attempted the bird ornament...it was very fiddly!! as ive only got the baby bug i could only make a small birdie!!

Took eldest to the dr & its a bug going round...so now im waiting for the rest of us to get it!



ive decorated a bit more on the pages i did yesterday for holidays in hand class...will do more when the kids are asleep!
