Babies Cradles & cake!

Hi all Its been a busy & yet not so busy time since i last posted...kids & myself have all had the flu with the first week of school off ...blah....I also missed my cousins baby shower over the school holidays but finally got to give her the gifts i made for her BABIES!! yes she is having twins!!! and one of each sex so that is fantastic. Im so excited for her but also relieved it isnt me!!! lol So what has miss pink cricut been cutting out lately?? LOTS!!!! I will start with the baby gifts i made....I used create a critter to cut the cute little lambs for the nappy cradles...which were so super easy to make....i wish i had more friends ready to pop so i can make more!! I used the left over nappies to make a baby cake...i love making these also!! I cut some cute little animals to put around the cake ie monkey koala giraffe ect I also made a quick gift for my aunty for her birthday..i cut out a cupcake wrapper & put in a body puff with a red pompom as a cherry....i also added a soap wrapped in yellow tissue paper & used some Sawyers Place washi tape in Cupcake designs...you have a chance of winning a roll if you got to Sawyers Place facebook page & commenting on my picture.

I also decorated some baby onsies by using cricut car decals & some freezer paper...i then ironed it to the onsies & then used fabric paint...for the boy it says i would rather be sleeping & the girl romper is i would rather be shopping!

I also got Dr Checkup cartridge which im so excited to get & had a quick play with the day i got it...i did a layout for the photos i have of my son being in hospital.

Its a rainy sunday afternoon & i hope to get some more cricutting done today!! Hope everyone has been well in blog land ♥ from Me

Its quite a different take on christmas photos...but it was such a struggle to get my eldest to stand next to santa....I think it might be our last Shop Santa photo for him...which makes this one Priceless!!


As a design team member for Sawyer's Place, I received some fun washi tape exclusive to Sawyer's Place to have a play with!
I have made some cute robot cards using the Titus Range of Washi tape

I used the Collection of washi tape to create a robot using the offcut from the other one!! It saved throwing it out & looks quite good...i will add a sentiment to the card when i use it as it could be for a get well or a happy birthday!

Isnt it the CUTEST boy range ever!!!

Other Designs i played with are Hearts & clouds..its so so sweet!!

I love how easy washi tape is to use!!
It is very hot here today & Im melting away....

Party fun

My little man has a birthday party to attend to & i made the card & some of the presents....Im entering it in the Myshericrafts blog Challenge 65...Party!!!

I made the cute card using the create a critter & mickey & friends cartridges on my pink cricut...i then used my pink cuttlebug to cut some cute felties shapes & made a felt board (yikes first time ive made one!!) I made the felt shapes toppers by embossing it with a dominoes folder i got in the mail yesterday...plus a lollypop to tie it in with the birthday card

lots of fun to be had

Today we went & visited my parents...as my eldest was off to the footy game...We go for Fremantle Dockers & they are playing against the other WA team the eagles...so its DERBY DAY!!!

Im a little sad im not going to get some photos but i bet they are having a great time!
Before we left the kids were all having fun riding around on the 4 wheeler...it was great watching them have fun


So now that im home & all the washing has been done, dried & put away its time to have some craft time!! I have been playing around with Nifty fifties cartridge as my eldest wants to have a bowling party...i made this card to see how it would look as an invite...i welded 2 of the same image together (flipping one) and turning it into a card! Im not sure if i will use this as an invite or maybe just make it a little simple and just put the info on the image ....boys dont seem to care much about the look of invites ect so long as they get one & it makes it home safely!

I also just made this card for a birthday party my little one got invited to...i hope the birthday girl likes it :) I used Create a Critter & Mickey & friends for the lollypop!

It takes time

This week my daughter has been asking where her best friend/cousin is....i told her it takes time to heal & come to terms with loosing someone you love & she will be back at school when she feels ready....my daughter read the death notices in the paper yesterday and started to understand how her cousin was feeling loosing her uncle..we talked about all the different processes of emotions we tend to go through such as shock....helplessness...anger...sadness and feeling alone or depressed and that its ok to cry, kick or scream as much as you like as they are your feelings and no one can tell you they arent!

Today i tackled my first ever sympathy cards....it was so hard to do

I also did a layout of my son & his cousin playing with another cousins doll house..because boys like doll houses too you know!
