Its been a busy & yet not so busy time since i last posted...kids & myself have all had the flu with the first week of school off ...blah....I also missed my cousins baby shower over the school holidays but finally got to give her the gifts i made for her BABIES!! yes she is having twins!!! and one of each sex so that is fantastic. Im so excited for her but also relieved it isnt me!!! lol
So what has miss pink cricut been cutting out lately?? LOTS!!!! I will start with the baby gifts i made....I used create a critter to cut the cute little lambs for the nappy cradles...which were so super easy to make....i wish i had more friends ready to pop so i can make more!! I used the left over nappies to make a baby cake...i love making these also!! I cut some cute little animals to put around the cake ie monkey koala giraffe ect
I also made a quick gift for my aunty for her birthday..i cut out a cupcake wrapper & put in a body puff with a red pompom as a cherry....i also added a soap wrapped in yellow tissue paper & used some Sawyers Place washi tape in Cupcake designs...you have a chance of winning a roll if you got to Sawyers Place facebook page & commenting on my picture.
I also decorated some baby onsies by using cricut car decals & some freezer paper...i then ironed it to the onsies & then used fabric paint...for the boy it says i would rather be sleeping & the girl romper is i would rather be shopping!
I also got Dr Checkup cartridge which im so excited to get & had a quick play with the day i got it...i did a layout for the photos i have of my son being in hospital.
Its a rainy sunday afternoon & i hope to get some more cricutting done today!!
Hope everyone has been well in blog land

Hi ....Its been ages since i have had time to blog!!
I made a card for a challenge over at Scrappy go lucky
You have to design a christmas card with non traditional christmas cricut carts....so i used the Home decor cart with the star flourish....i had a few issues cutting with such thin paper that the flourish tore on some of it so i snipped it..so now its a little different to the design on the cart...but it still looks christmassy to me...i also used the close to my heart stamp sentiment i got when i purchased the art philosophy cart from scrappy go lucky.
its quite a quick & easy card....i like simple! If you want to enter for a chance to win a cricut cartridge...head on over to Scrappy Go Lucky & enter your own card!!
Its been quite a cold few months already of winter ...we had a massive storm that blew the kids trampoline onto the pergola roof...if we didnt get it down i think it would have flipped right over & into the yard next door...with that came several power outages & we have all been sick with colds & flu...bring on spring where i can sit in the sun & be warm!
My daughter had a class party which was a 'mad hatter tea party' so i had lots of fun making some tea cups, cupcake toppers & a large mad hatter hat all from the cricut. The tea cups i filled with small chocolates.
hope everyone is having a great weekend

Its felt like forever since i last blogged!! The kids have all kept me busy with after school activities this term!
The school holidays are fast approaching which means the easter bunny is on his way!
I have been entering the Scrappy-go-lucky cricut strut your cuts challenges & have been getting easter gifts made
Here are the cutest little carrot boxes made from Tags bags boxes & more cart & i used green washi tape from Sawyer's Place & i embossed it with swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder, these were cut at 4inches
Another easter treat box i made was using my new tags bags boxes & more 2 cartridge!! i also used the scoring tool. I made cute little milk cartons cut at 4 inches also ...i managed to fit 4 mini eggs inside easily..probably could fit upto 5 or 6 even but 4 is plenty for 5 yr olds!
Im cutting out a few little baskets with the new tbbm2 cart so will post about those once im done
Its been a busy few weeks...kids are back at school & after school activities have begun
This week over at scrappy go lucky we are upto challenge 5! I only had one cartridge in the list so went with Paisley. As its nearly valentines day i decided to make a valentines day card or 2!
i also made a valentines day card using Sawyer's place red & white hearts tapes....lots of easy loving!!
above is week 4 challenge using best of pixar cart i made a best fishes card...also decorated some folders for my son starting school full time for the first time!

Well I have had such a busy week & only just got to do the challenge yesterday
Head on over to Scrappy go lucky to see what carts you can use this week ...but hurry as its nearly closed for this week!!
Here is my entry using the only cart i had on the list...B is for Boy
Im slowly getting all my kids baby photos done...i don't think i will ever finish!!
I used some Sawyer's Place Washi tape....i do love that hearts & clouds washi!!
I also made a vinyl sticker to put on my kids files for school...I used some Brushed silver metal look vinyl using rock princess & i think it was basecamp for the words
The weather here in Western Australia has been a bit strange...the other day we had a wild thunderstorm...we were out in it as my kids had swim lessons down at the beach ...but im not insane..i made them stay in the car as the lightning & thunder crashed around us & my husband went to see if they had been cancelled or not...crazily they were not but there was no way i was letting my precious kids out into the weather!!! As it was as we just got up the street the car got pelted with lots of rain & hail & massive flashes of lightning & the wind was very strong!
This pic i took from our car shows how flooded the roads became along with turf farms being underwater in a matter of minutes...the tree shows just how crazy the wind was blowing!
I am going to do some washing today & then maybe get my scrap on!!
The new list is up for the week ahead over at scrappy go lucky...so im off to read what carts i might have!!
Its quite a different take on christmas photos...but it was such a struggle to get my eldest to stand next to santa....I think it might be our last Shop Santa photo for him...which makes this one Priceless!!
As a design team member for Sawyer's Place, I received some fun washi tape exclusive to Sawyer's Place to have a play with!
I have made some cute robot cards using the Titus Range of Washi tape
I used the Collection of washi tape to create a robot using the offcut from the other one!! It saved throwing it out & looks quite good...i will add a sentiment to the card when i use it as it could be for a get well or a happy birthday!
Isnt it the CUTEST boy range ever!!!
Other Designs i played with are Hearts & clouds..its so so sweet!!
I love how easy washi tape is to use!!
It is very hot here today & Im melting away....

Well now that my cousin has said her vows i can now post a pic of the frame i decorated for them....as she is on the other side of the country i hope that it made it to her safe & sound
I used Sawyer's Place washi tapes to decorate the shadow box frame & a cricut cut...i think it was from Phrases...but dont quote me on that!
love the insanity script washi tape & the hearts tape...you can find it over at Sawyer's Place along with lots of other great designs & new ones coming soon!
Welcome to the new year!! Its now the second day of 2012 & i finally got a chance to turn miss pink on!! lol
We went to the beach yesterday & had a great time chillaxing on the sand & watching the kids splash about in the waves while my husband had a try at fishing....he doesnt do so well but he keeps on trying anyway!
Happy New Year 2012!!
I love watching the waves crash along the beach and the foamy water reaches further along as the tide gets bigger
Today i cleaned out a shelf to make way for my cricut cartridges....im running out of storage ...yet i continue to keep buying!!
So over at Scrappy Go Lucky they are having a "strut your cuts" Challenge this year to get us all to use our cartridges! I had wanted to do this myself last year....but i failed on my own.....maybe with a whole heap of us i may be inspired to keep at it! If you want to join in at anytime just head on over to Scrappy-go-lucky & check out what Cartridges are being used for the week!
here is My entry:
I used Songbird and used the birdcage & also the Birthday is songbird welded together on my gypsy....i then used a border punch and some ribbon & a rhinestone for the birds eye! This will be for my sister as her birthday is this month!
