Cupcakes all round!!

Hi
This last week has been one huge party!! well not quite...but both myself & my son are now a year older!!
I was having a great birthday...got lots of new cricut cartridges from my hubby & kids, went and had lunch with hubby & watched my daughter do cross country ( its a long distance run that is done with several schools participating) and then hubby bought me some flowers...sounds all so good doesnt it!!

Then as my daughter was doing cross country we had to wait for the bus to return to the school which was 10 min late after the siren....when we got back to our car in the car park a mum had reversed straight into our car!! Happy birthday!!!

So it kind of made my day not so great & we are now waiting on them to claim it through insurance ..im hoping its soon as we can not open the door they hit & with 3 kids they are not finding it easy to share one door!

Also i received the Cupcake lite cartridge from the lovely Patricia at The Crafty Kitten I had won her blogoverary prize & it arrived on my birthday!!! ( that made me happy again!!)

My son is now a 12 year old!! i still cant believe my first baby is so grown up!!
He had a party at the bowling centre & invited his friends...they all had a great time & my son actually won both games of bowling they played....and all the kids loved the arcade section....it was hard to get them to leave when it came time to go!!

this week im hoping to get back into scrapbooking & stuff....i have a fathers day card & a birthday card to make!!

I made it onto a Design Team!!

Hi all

The other day i got an email to say i made it onto a design team...its the first time i have ever thought of putting myself out there...so to speak!
I was so happy to get the email & even happier when the store sent me some goodies to road test!!

I used candy pink washi tape on both cards along with fuchsia daisies and gem brads in blush & true pink which you can buy at Sawyers Place!!


I also did a layout using the Argyle check washi tape & a blush gem brad from Sawyers Place....I had never used washi tape before it arrived & must admit i think i LOVE IT!!! its so easy to use & as its a tape i dont need to use adhesive!!

Busy as can be

wow it feels like forever since my last post!! I have been so busy doing all the stuff mums need to do...kids & hubby & i have also been taking in turns of being sick with colds etc so its been a great week!! I cant wait for summer...spring is good too but i tend to sneeze a lot in spring!

Anyway i just wanted to post today to say a HUGE BIG THANKYOU to Stasia Sloma!! She is a very lovely & kind person who donated a Stampin' up Prize over at Scrappin' chics challenge blog

I received my lovely prize today....its fantastic & cant wait to play with all my new goodies!!

Its my sons birthday coming up in a week or so & i have just made all his lolly bags...he is having a party at a bowling centre...they also get to have a few arcade games...what soon to be 12 year old wont love that!!!
So here are my lolly bags i made....and as typical he isn't so interested in how it looks but whats in the package!! So simple & not so fussy it is for him!

Other exciting news is i got accepted as a design team member for a scrapbooking store....more about that in another post to come...I am excited as i have never bothered to apply to anything like that before but thought why not try? So when i get some goodies from the shop to play with i will post to let you all know!!

scrappin' chics challenge....use a banner!

Last night i managed to do a few scrap pages while the kids watched a movie before bed. I love the weekends....but don't often get to scrap as much as i want
Im slowly getting my old pics of when i was little scrapped for my album....This one is when we spent time with our cousins while our mums went off to play bingo! Lots of fun memories were made during these times!!
I added a banner with lets play written on it & stamped & embossed a medium bingo stamp i received from Platypus creek stamps.

Wow hasn't this year gone so fast? This month has several birthdays in it ...so im on a card making frenzy!!

Here is a card i made...i bought the hello kitty greeting cartridge last month & have just used it for the first time....over at M.A.G Challenge by the page, they have a Hello Kitty challenge using the page that has the Airplane on it....

Hello kitty is just the sweetest little thing!!
