A little bit of sunshine on a dreary grey day

Hi
Today started out very dreary & grey....really didnt want to get out of bed...even the yougest said lets sleep in til 10.30!

But we had a playdate with the kindy mums & yes we were over an hour late as it was!!
The grey clouds followed us from home all the way to the park & then seemed to dissapear as the kids ran off & had some fun while i sat with the mums in the sun...i think it was what we needed.

The park we went to was nicknamed Dr Seuss Park due to all the colourful poles & mounds in the white red & blue colours....it was fun...you cant be gloomy at a place like this!!

After a fun morning at the park we were a little bit naughty & got hungry jacks for lunch & then we came home so i could scrapbook this layout for a challenge that is due to end very SOON!!

This challenge was to use a particular page in the ROCK PRINCESS Cartridge handbook
go check out the M.A.G Challenge by the page blog here

Here is my page....its my grandma & her sisters celebrating grandmas 90th birthday!! you cant leave these 3 alone for too long...or if you do cruises get planned and all sorts of mayhem can happen....they love the casino too & go every week....i cant wait til im 90 & get to have some fun too!!

I used dcwv paper...random birthday paper i have had in my stash for ageeessss.....flower brads...tim holtz distress stickles & ink in worn lipstick & the Bad Influence & lightning bolt wings ( does that have a proper name??) from the Rock Princess Cartridge

thanks for stopping by

  2. I love it!!! My Aunty Mary was like that - at 90 she ran rings around me as far as bad influence goes. Love the DCWV paper use! And the stickles on the flying bolt thing (technical term not known here either!) looks so good, it almost looks embossed! Love it!
