Hi ....Its been ages since i have had time to blog!!
I made a card for a challenge over at
Scrappy go lucky
You have to design a christmas card with non traditional christmas cricut carts....so i used the Home decor cart with the star flourish....i had a few issues cutting with such thin paper that the flourish tore on some of it so i snipped it..so now its a little different to the design on the cart...but it still looks christmassy to me...i also used the close to my heart stamp sentiment i got when i purchased the art philosophy cart from scrappy go lucky.
its quite a quick & easy card....i like simple! If you want to enter for a chance to win a cricut cartridge...head on over to Scrappy Go Lucky & enter your own card!!
Its been quite a cold few months already of winter ...we had a massive storm that blew the kids trampoline onto the pergola roof...if we didnt get it down i think it would have flipped right over & into the yard next door...with that came several power outages & we have all been sick with colds & flu...bring on spring where i can sit in the sun & be warm!
My daughter had a class party which was a 'mad hatter tea party' so i had lots of fun making some tea cups, cupcake toppers & a large mad hatter hat all from the cricut. The tea cups i filled with small chocolates.
hope everyone is having a great weekend

I think the card looks very Christmassy, I will have to look at the Cartrige to see the star, its amazing what we miss when we look through the books. Thanks for joining in the challenge at Scrappy-go-Lucky good luck
ReplyDeleteHi. Great card - elegant and timeless. I love the flourish on the star. Thanks for entering the Strut Your Cuts and Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThe star makes a great simple Christmas card. How cool are the cups and hat, I'm sure your daughters class loved what you made.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Strut Your cuts.
I love the card. I always find that keeping it simple gives it a elegance and allows the main feature to really shine.
