A day in history

Hi
its been a few days since i posted...my little one has been sick..so that means no time for me to get crafty! However last night i did make time to get a gift done as i have to give it to them tomorrow!!
My cousin just got engaged!!! im so excited for her!! I hope she doesn't read my blog as im going to put her gift up here! I used Sweethearts cartridge and glass etching cream. I got a mirror from a shop that was in a frame....my husband thought i was crazy and said it is "unique" lol i just hope they like it enough to put it somewhere!

Hope everyone has a great day....its the day of the royal wedding.....hope to watch it on tv later today!!

Hot Hot Summer

Hi all

Its Been so hot here lately & so many natural disasters happening all around australia & New zealand. Watching the earthquake coverage from over there is just heart breaking!

I have been scrapbooking...i went with a friend to a crop night & got some pages done.....will put photos below this! Its so hot that i haven't been feeling like doing much at all....sweat & paper doesn't mix well!!

Sew easy to use!

The other night my friend & i went to a scrapbooking stores crop night...the best part was that they shop stayed open...i was very good though & only bought a few things..2 embossing folders, some black  foam squares & a Sew Easy! I got the last one on in the store which made my day...not so much for my friend who also wanted one!  I bought some pink & browns floss
 to go with it. I love that the needle goes into the handle so its all in one handy dandy tool!! lol

Here is my first attempt at using it on a layout that night....it was SO Easy!!!

Hope everyone is having a great start to the week...not long now & kids will be back to school!! 2 more birthday parties to attend & Australia Day is also coming up this week!
