Scrappy Go Lucky "strut your cuts" Challenge 3

Hi
Well I have had such a busy week & only just got to do the challenge yesterday
Head on over to Scrappy go lucky to see what carts you can use this week ...but hurry as its nearly closed for this week!!

Here is my entry using the only cart i had on the list...B is for Boy

Im slowly getting all my kids baby photos done...i don't think i will ever finish!!
I used some Sawyer's Place Washi tape....i do love that hearts & clouds washi!!

I also made a vinyl sticker to put on my kids files for school...I used some Brushed silver metal look vinyl using rock princess & i think it was basecamp for the words

The weather here in Western Australia has been a bit strange...the other day we had a wild thunderstorm...we were out in it as my kids had swim lessons down at the beach ...but im not insane..i made them stay in the car as the lightning & thunder crashed around us & my husband went to see if they had been cancelled or not...crazily they were not but there was no way i was letting my precious kids out into the weather!!! As it was as we just got up the street the car got pelted with lots of rain & hail & massive flashes of lightning & the wind was very strong!

This pic i took from our car shows how flooded the roads became along with turf farms being underwater in a matter of minutes...the tree shows just how crazy the wind was blowing!

I am going to do some washing today & then maybe get my scrap on!!
The new list is up for the week ahead over at scrappy go lucky...so im off to read what carts i might have!!

Scrappy Go Lucky "strut your cuts" Challenge 2 & oh my WASHI!!!

Hi
Well its week 2 for the Scrappy Go Lucky Challenge!!
This week i managed to use all 5 of the carts!

Create a Critter

Rock Princess

Home Decor

Cuttin’ Up

Graphically Speaking

Its quite a different take on christmas photos...but it was such a struggle to get my eldest to stand next to santa....I think it might be our last Shop Santa photo for him...which makes this one Priceless!!

As a design team member for Sawyer's Place, I received some fun washi tape exclusive to Sawyer's Place to have a play with!
I have made some cute robot cards using the Titus Range of Washi tape

I used the Collection of washi tape to create a robot using the offcut from the other one!! It saved throwing it out & looks quite good...i will add a sentiment to the card when i use it as it could be for a get well or a happy birthday!

Isnt it the CUTEST boy range ever!!!

Other Designs i played with are Hearts & clouds..its so so sweet!!

I love how easy washi tape is to use!!
It is very hot here today & Im melting away....

Scrappy Go Lucky "strut your cuts" Challenge 1

Hi
Welcome to the new year!! Its now the second day of 2012 & i finally got a chance to turn miss pink on!! lol
We went to the beach yesterday & had a great time chillaxing on the sand & watching the kids splash about in the waves while my husband had a try at fishing....he doesnt do so well but he keeps on trying anyway!

Happy New Year 2012!!

I love watching the waves crash along the beach and the foamy water reaches further along as the tide gets bigger

Today i cleaned out a shelf to make way for my cricut cartridges....im running out of storage ...yet i continue to keep buying!!

So over at Scrappy Go Lucky they are having a "strut your cuts" Challenge this year to get us all to use our cartridges! I had wanted to do this myself last year....but i failed on my own.....maybe with a whole heap of us i may be inspired to keep at it! If you want to join in at anytime just head on over to Scrappy-go-lucky & check out what Cartridges are being used for the week!

here is My entry:

happy Holidays

Hi
We had a nice christmas with family this year...we went to my grandads for the first time & hopefully not the last time for christmas lunch

The kids all got some fabulous presents from santa & even i got some cricut cartridges & the provocraft cricut bag...yay me!!

Today my cousin mandy is getting married...she lives on the other side of australia now so sadly we couldnt make it over for the wedding as it was so close to christmas & everything is more expensive at this time of the year

I made some glittered glass baubles a few days before christmas...they were so easy to make..i used some vinyl to personalize them with names

We also made our own mini gingerbread houses...the kids had lots of fun decorating their own with lollies!

In the new year i hope to stick to my plan of using all of my cartridges i have! Over at Scrappy go lucky they will be having a challenge to use upto 5 carts a week!
i dont know if i could be that dedicated or even if i have all that they have ....but i will give it a go!

Also Sawyer's Place have some fantastic new washi tapes!! I hope to buy some of the gorgeous boys design of robots & cogs in the new year not to mention some of the other fabulous washi tapes!!!

hope to catch up to you all in the new year

So much crafting yet such little time!!

Hi all

Its felt like ages since i last blogged....life has taken over & preparing for Christmas & birthdays has taken my time.

Lots has happened since my last blog...my daughter had her dance concert & she did extremely well & won the Trophy on the night in her level...i was so proud of her i couldn't even speak...i had no idea it was coming!! my sister & mum cheered for her as i was speechless in the crowd
The following day my son received 3 letters from a high school he tried out scholarships for & received all 3 he went for!! Totally proud of him too
My youngest just had his end of year concert for kindy & we are so proud of him also...he did really well singing & moving to the song as he should.

OK back to what i have been doing craft wise for Xmas & birthdays
For Christmas i made the teachers a gift basket each...inside i placed some partylite candles in a Xmas tree box i made using my cricut..for the teacher aides i made a snowflake box using my cricut & decorated with some sawyers place washi tape....i also etched some mirrored candle plates & votive candle holders using my cricut & etching cream.

I also made some sweet treats for the kids to take to school for their class mates
& some baubles for the teachers gift baskets

My daughters friend/cousin just had her birthday party so i made these for her...she had a sleepover make up party so i made some favor boxes for her mum to fill & then made her birthday card & also a Justin beiber frame as she loves justin..i used my cricut gelly pens to make it

ok well i think that will do for now....im sure all these pictures are plenty!!
hope to get back & blog before xmas day

Rudolph Spares anyone??

Hi
Its time to start making the kids classmates a little gift...this year im making Rudolph spare noses. I bought some skinny cello bags from Ann over at Discover Ink
& then cut out some reindeer heads at 3 inches from doodlecharms cartridge on my cricut & layered them all together.
I'm going to enter this over at Bah!Hunbug! challenge 45 bags & boxes

i added a magnet to the back of the reindeer heads so it can be used to decorate the fridge this festive season
I filled the bags up with Jaffas...which are orange flavored chocolate balls in a red candy shell...yummy!!

I hope the kids love them!!
