Its My very own Pink cricuts first birthday!!

i was flipping through my scrapbooks today & realised that my pink cricut is now one year old! wow the year sure has flown by! She has cut some amazing images & words & has been a huge help in my crafty life...i dont know what i would do without her!!
She has even helped my kids with school projects...helped make t shirts & posters for school...helped make a gazillion cards and helped deign glass items for presents!
Today was her first time with chipboard & she is a pro with vinyl & contact paper!

So i just thought i would like to say a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my very own miss pink cricut....may we share many more happy chirpy days crafting side by side together...you bring out the best in me!!

sunshiny days.....in winter

I just completed a summer page for the Fantabulous Cricut blog SUN challenge

I cut the sun out of chipboard on my pink cricut using the doodle charms cartridge. I then embossed it in my pink cuttlebug with sun rays embossing folder & then inked, sprayed glimmermisted it all up.
The pics were taken at a water park that we go to quite often in summer. They just got new water attractions & we went the second week it opened, my kids loved it :)

I kindy glitzed the summer lovin' letters from we R memory keepers...and also added some Fun in the sun ribbon. I also mounted the sun on foam squares to lift it up a little.

Thanks for looking at my summer layout....even though its winter & its raining out there today!

forever young Purse & goodies + getting cricky challenge...SMILE!!

I just finished making my sons kindy friends present for tomorrow. We are giving her some money so that her mum can take her shopping...nothing worse than getting a present of something you have already!
I also made a cute little Forever Young purse so that my little guy can give it to her along with her card i made the other day.....so after putting in the money...the purse looked a little empty...so i made some hair ties!

I used pink felt and cuttle bugged some bows & flowers from the cuttle kids dies. I then hot glued some ribbons and the die cut felt to the hair ties & then added buttons...i had some J buttons so used those as her name is Jacinta. Its my first time making them...and i think i might make more in future...its a great little personalized gift

The paper dolls are extra cute & are much like the little girl...always smiling
I love peachy keen stamps...it makes my paper dolls come alive!

Bug day scrapping

Today i went to another Bug Day Scrap....at Just Scrapbooking. I really didnt get much done...i really dont know why i think i would!

Im still getting over the flu and i have no energy to lift my scrapping stuff let alone want to think lol....but i did get a card done that was on my need to do list...as its needed for this weekend!!

My little guy got invited to a party...he is super excited and keeps asking is it time to go yet!!

I thought i would be brave & try a pop up card from the everyday pop up cards cart.....you would think it was easy....but it wasnt...i had 2 ladies trying to figure it out for me..both had different ideas...after an email & diagram later we finally worked it out....it looks very cute...but im just glad i dont have the cart...or i would be sitting in a corner crying with the card ...sobbing 'why wont you work butterfly!"

So here is my card....& yes that is all i did...apart from cutting random stuff from carts i dont have lol

i hope the little girl likes it!!

frosted Designs fabulous friday challenge: stitching

Im back....my kids wouldnt let me have much of a sleep so i decided to make a card or 2 with the tatty bear stamp i got yesterday

I added some stitching...thanks to my sew easy!

Yay i made top 3 over at frosted designs blog

Well im feeling extremely sick today...feels like my throat is closing over & its hard to breathe....my neck feels swollen & im going through tissues like there is no tomorrow...having the flu really sucks....i would rather be scrapbooking!

To my surprise i made top 3 over at Frosted Designs blog
that has cheered me up!! I have added my blinkie over to the left :)

Yesterday my darling husband went & got me the new Creativity Magazine from the local scrap shop....i LOVE this magazine...its so cheap & always has great freebies...this one has the Tatty Teddy me to you clear stamps & a cute little swiss dots embossing folder...so when im feeling better i will get creating with these cute freebies!!

Also i won a goodie bag while at the latest Spotlight store event for sewing...i put my name down in a raffle & won some cute sequins, ribbons & beads....i wonder how sequins would go on a layout....looking at the greenish ones remind me of a mermaid....so im thinking paper doll mermaid with cute sequins.....when im feeling better its on my to do list..if i attempted now i would sneeze the sequins all over the place!
