Where in the world is Jacob??

Hi
Just thought i would do an update of Jacobs Hot blog hop around the world!
You would never guess where he is!! At Provocraft of course!!! I think i may need to twist his arm or seduce him somehow so he can tell me all of his secrets he seen while there ie new cartridges ect!! I cant wait til he gets to my place!!

Also while im here....might as well say my kids had their Faction sports carnival yesterday....They had a great time...sadly their faction came last...its been awhile since they have had a win....but if there was ever a prize for the most disqualified teams we would have won that for sure!!

Here are some streamers i made quickly the night before...I cut up some wrapping paper & then used the washi tape i got from Sawyers Place to keep them all together & as little handles to hold them....my kids loved them!

Busy Busy Busy!!

This week is going to be super busy with lots of things planned before school holidays at the end of September...im sure they were just on holidays right??

So here are a few things Ive done in the last few days ( i cant show you all at the moment as my sons Pirate party isn't til mid October) But i can show you my daughters stuff for her party...which is also in October!
Im entering it into the Decorate to Celebrate! challenge anything goes theme!

I used the blue & white check washi tape from Sawyers Place ....its so easy & it reminds me of the pool tiles you get along the edges of the pool...Im going to add each childs name to the bags as they rsvp...i also had to quickly make 2 boy bags as she decided to invite 2 ...one she has known since before kindy & they got "married" when they were in Pre primary!! so cute that they are still friends even at the age of nearly 10!! Although at the beginning of the year there was talk of divorce!! oh my kids are so funny!!

Here is a Birthday card i did for my son...which im entering in the Fantabulous cricut challenge Use an Instrument or musical notes

Im not that fussed on the paper i used but it reminded me of my Aunty...she is all floral-ly lol feminine as florally isnt a word!! Either way her house has a zillion fake flowers & teddy bears..but thats just the way she is! So it is making its way over to her house later today!!

scrappin saturday!

Hi again

Got the music crankin & the layouts are flying off the table!

Here is a double page layout that i will add to Scrappin Chics Challenge Blog. I actually chose this challenge!! I actually have another page in mind for this challenge but i also wanted to get this one done as i cant find my photos...gah!! i know they are here somewhere!!

So i chose this challenge because in Australia most states seem to have a huge agricultural show with rides & heaps of fun also animals & exhibitions from around the state ect...its a must thing to go to each year...we used to save up pocket money to go months in advance when i was a kid!!
Our Royal show in Perth is in October school holidays & the kids cant wait!!

But for now i did a layout of another fun thing to do in WA...Adventure World!!

I added one of the wrist bands we all had to wear while at adventure world to the layout :)

ready...set....challenges!!

I made a list of all the challenges i hope to enter this month....Scrap the girls blog has a challenge to use CLIPS! So i used paper clips & swirly clips & a decorated clip...i think im all clipped out on that one!!
I also noticed that Bird is the Word blog has a challenge on the word Memory or variation like Memories.....Which is on my layout!!

So here is my pic of the girls...its very similar to the last pic i scrapped but totally different papers & i used the witches shoe i made from Happy Hauntings cartridge!!

So excited to enter challenges ..it gets the scrapping done!!

cricut car decals

Hi
Yesterday i went to a bug day at my local scrapbook store....i still cant believe how little i seem to accomplish while there!! I have grand ideas and all to get things done...yet i just seem to cut stuff out & no creating gets done....I cut these vinyl car decals out...i was disappointed that there wasn't a daddy fishing ( that i could see anyway!) My husband likes fishing...i cut the saying out..but im yet to put it on the car.

I cut some other stuff for pages i hope to complete this weekend...its good to go to the bug day...just to use carts you don't have!!

Today i received a box of carts ect .....hubby just rolled his eyes when he seen the provocraft cricut on the box!! its quite funny to watch! I have to wait for 1 more cart as it was left out of the box :( but im sure it will arrive soon!!

A Weds quicky!!

Hi all

Today is a busy day....hump day & all that...Yesterday my son came home with the News Bag for him to take back today with a show & tell item...its the first time they are doing it for his class... I had a look at the bag & thought it needed something other than the boring writing that is already on it!

So i cut out 'News Bag' using Printing 101 classmate cartridge out of the vinyl i had & placed it on the bag...im not sure how long it will last but it looks good for now...not sure if the teacher will notice as he had a relief teacher today!

He took along his tractor that makes beeping & construction sounds....he is such a little boy!!

Caution treats wanted!!

Im back again today!! Here is a layout i just made using my Happy Hauntings Cartridge. Halloween isnt all that big here in Australia...well not where i live...but we do get an occasional kid or 2 every few years...last year my daughter wanted to go so bad...so i let he go with 2 of her friends & their mum & nana...just around the block they live on...which included my mums house...so she took some pics when they reached there....mind you it was quite a hot day so the green on her friends face had melted away...quite funny!!

Today the parcel man bought me some Cricut reward items!! I got the Green water bottle & the mini backpack!! Just in time for my Bug Day on Thursday!!! Cant wait to use & abuse miss pink on that day!!

Halloween & christmas ...Crafting ahead

Hi all

Well what a good weekend we had...apart from youngest being sick. Friday night my mum & i went to a Stampin' up catalogue launch...its the first time Ive been to one of those...it was fun moving from table to table creating amazing cards!! My mum was so funny half way through the 2nd card she asks me...so whats this company called??...ummm mum...where have you been hiding?? So i told her all about it...what info i had anyways & she had big plans to go check out a catalogue when we were done...but when that time came she disappeared for what felt like hours...i placed my order & went in search of her...to find her out in the cold chatting to my friend mykaela, who had said goodbye ages ago!! As i was in my search my darling hubby text to ask where i was...as he came to pick us up & was in the car park! so no catalogue looking for my mum that night! I may let her look at mine :)

Here are the cards we made on the night

Im also going to enter it over at Birthday Sundaes blog challenge 25...its a great blog just for birthdays!!

I also went to a cheap shop Thursday night & bought some wreaths for Christmas...i got a pack of 2 for $2!! I'm thinking i might need to go back & look around when im kid free....they had a lot of glad products & 3 kids plus me isn't a good mix around glass objects!!

I also got some new Washi tape from Sawyers Place
The Red Starburst Washi tape was perfect for wrapping around the Styrofoam wreath...i was amazed i still had heaps of tape left when i completed it! I then got some poinsettia paper flowers from an old Christmas embellishment pack i had & stuck them down with red berries....So easy!!

So now onto Halloween.....i got the Happy Hauntings Cricut cart for my birthday & finally got to play with it....I made a few witches shoes & a coffin...as you do!!

The Witches shoes are so easy to make..i added ribbon & added an extra bit at the top that i border punched to make it look like a sock & put ribbon behind that...reminded me of the frilly socks my mum made me wear when i was a kid. Lacing it up was so easy also!! Im entering the witches shoe over at amandascraftsandmore blog for her challenge of using ribbons All tied up challenge

The coffin i cut out of one piece of 12x12..i was going to use my gypsy but she flashed a deathly red & didn't stay on...so as i was already sitting at my computer i plugged in the Design Studio...I'm yet to check out the new craft room! I then embossed it with my cuttlebug with the wood grain embossing folder.

I was going to enter the treat box into a challenge but i cant find the blog at the moment....if i find it will enter lol

September has arrived!!

Hi all
wow September is here already & what a nice sunny start to spring...it didnt last long & by school pick up time it had turned dark & stormy looking!

I got some great mail today...from Sawyers Place She has just started a blog so head on over & say G'day!!
So what did i get in the mail?? Washi tape of course!! Its so cool...i got the Measuring Tape TAPE, plus 2 other designs which i will be creating with shortly plus some hot fix rhinestones in xmas colours!

I had a busy day today but when i seen that the measuring tape arrived i just had to make a quick card!!

How cute is that tape!!! I also made a matching envelope :) The Tape goes upto 15 before returning back to 1 again...I have so many ideas running through my head when i look at this tape! Also the tools were cut from Everyday Paper dolls!

Also i wanted to give you all a quick update of how Jacob ( plastic jacob, not my son jacob) is going on his blog hop around the world. I still cant wait to get him...but that will be closer to the end of his tour!
